South Africa’s women finished their tour of Zimbabwe with a 5-0 T20I series win on 19 September. Anneke Bosch was player of the series after scoring 214 runs.
The bowling was just as dominant. Annerie Dercksen and debutant Nthabiseng Nini took seven wickets each, and Dercksen claimed her first five-wicket haul in T20 internationals during the series. For Zimbabwe, Michelle Mavunga was the standout with 110 runs and five wickets.
England sweep Ireland
Earlier in September, England’s women beat Ireland 3-0 in a one-day series led by captain Charlie Dean. Sophia Dunkley was player of the series with 212 runs, and Issy Wong took a five-wicket haul as England wrapped up the series.
