The Laver Cup is back at London’s O2 Arena from 25 to 27 September, its first visit to the city since 2022. Team World are the defending champions after beating Team Europe 15-9 in San Francisco last year.
The teams
Yannick Noah’s Team Europe is built around Carlos Alcaraz and newly crowned US Open champion Alexander Zverev, alongside Flavio Cobolli, Casper Ruud, Jakub Menšík and first-timer Rafael Jódar.
Andre Agassi’s Team World includes US Open finalist Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Tommy Paul, Alexander Bublik and Learner Tien.
How it works
Matches are worth one point on Friday, two on Saturday and three on Sunday, and the first team to 13 points wins. Because the final day carries so many points, a side that falls behind early is never out of it.
